Secondary Program

In our Secondary program, spanning four years, we blend traditional academic rigor with innovative teaching approaches, preparing students for success in both international and North American universities. Starting in Secondary I, our curriculum includes key subjects like Literature and Writing, Physical Science, World Cultural Studies and History, Algebra and/or Geometry, Art, Technology, Music, and Physical Education. We also offer a rich selection of World Languages such as Russian, Spanish, Kazakh, and French, nurturing a global perspective and academic versatility.

What sets us apart is our commitment to mastery learning. We understand that each student has unique needs and learning styles, and our program is designed to meet these individual requirements. As students progress to Secondary II, III, and IV, they are encouraged to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses, aligned with their strengths and interests. Our status as an AP testing center ensures a convenient and supportive environment for their examinations.

Our focus on differentiated learning and mastery ensures that our graduates are not only prepared but also confident and well-equipped to thrive in the university setting and beyond. Welcome to an educational experience where every student's potential is recognized and nurtured.

Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated event in Secondary, Prom Night is a time of joy and celebration, full of dancing, laughter, and lasting memories!

Extracurricular Opportunities

Our Secondary program offers a vibrant array of extracurricular activities, each designed to enrich the student experience beyond the classroom.

  • Members of the National Honor Society (NHS) engage in community service and leadership initiatives, fostering a sense of civic responsibility.
  • Model United Nations (MUN) participants sharpen their debating and diplomacy skills, tackling global issues with insight and creativity.
  • The Student Council gives students a voice in school governance, developing their leadership and organizational talents.
  • Student athletes have the opportunity to compete in various events, often traveling for competitions, which not only enhances their athletic skills but also promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • For the musically inclined, our Rock Band and musical theater programs provide a platform for artistic expression and collaboration, allowing students to explore and showcase their musical and theatrical talents.

These activities collectively nurture a well-rounded, confident, and socially responsible individual, ready to excel in all facets of life.
